Another season, another one where we’re just a hair away from glory, yet forever stuck in the same bloody place. Never the bride, always the bridesmaid. Injuries, red cards, and a stubborn refusal to be lucky did for us again.
But credit where it’s due. There were moments that made you believe, especially in the Champions League run. Even this old Southerner felt a flicker of hope that we might finally grab that damn big-eared thing. Spoiler alert — we didn’t. Still, I’d give it a solid 8 out of 10.
