Sesko under pressure as Amorim signals rotation and criticism at Manchester United
The United manager praised the striker for working hard and wanting to succeed.
Amorim will rotate players like Fernandes if United return to European competition.
Amorim says Sesko is struggling for form at United and urges him to accept criticism.
Sesko has two goals in 11 appearances since moving from RB Leipzig for 73.7 million pounds in August.
That pressure falls on the 22 year old, though Amorim says he remains relaxed while Sesko wrestles with expectations.
“I understand how football works and he will struggle,” Amorim said.
“He lacks experience here and when people label you the next big thing you hear that.”
“If you do not perform every week you will hear from club legends, pundits and the media and sometimes they are right,” he added.
The club insist he will continue to be backed as he learns the league.
Sesko remains under pressure after a slow start since joining from RB Leipzig.
Amorim signals rotation if United return to Europe and hints at managing expectations around Fernandes.
Form and scrutiny on Sesko will shape his early months at Manchester United.
