Arsenal and Crystal Palace secure late swap ahead of Carabao Cup quarter-final

Arsenal and Crystal Palace have asked the Premier League to move their weekend fixtures ahead of the Carabao Cup quarter-final.

The cup tie remains scheduled for Tuesday 23 December at the Emirates Stadium.

Originally both teams were due to kick off at 2pm GMT on Sunday 21 December.

However, the league moved Arsenal’s game at Everton and Palace’s at Leeds to 8pm on Saturday 20 December.

The change was approved by the Premier League to ease the congested calendar.

Arsenal will travel to Everton, while Palace visit Leeds for the 8pm kickoff on 20 December.

The rearrangement keeps the Cup tie on its date while reducing midweek pressure for both clubs.

This supports a smoother weekend schedule and preserves the integrity of the quarter-final.

  • Arsenal and Crystal Palace secure a Premier League approved schedule change.
