Yeremy Pino seals Palace win as Wolves slide toward the Championship
It was the 69th minute when Yeremy Pino doubled Palace’s lead.
His strike from the edge of the area crashed in under the crossbar.
In the away technical area, Oliver Glasner was on the move.
The Palace manager almost lost his footing but kept his balance, grinning.
“Almost,” he joked, “I am Austrian and a good skier, so I am used to slippery surfaces.”
By the end, away supporters asked Dean Henderson for song suggestions after Eddie Nketiah went close to a third.
For Wolves under Rob Edwards, this was his first game in permanent charge and there was more pain.
Pino scored six minutes after Daniel Muñoz opened the scoring to seal the win.
Wolves remain on two points and rooted to the bottom after a dozen matches.
They are the only winless side in the top seven tiers of English football and hurtle toward the Championship.
TLDR
Yeremy Pino’s 69th minute strike doubled Palace’s lead.
Wolves stay bottom after 12 matches.
