Rob Edwards to become Wolves head coach after Middlesbrough talks
Rob Edwards has agreed a three-and-a-half year contract to become Wolves head coach.
A formal appointment could come as early as Monday.
Middlesbrough initially rejected Wolves’ approach for Edwards.
Therefore, talks on Friday led to agreement for his departure.
Wolves will pay around three million pounds in compensation.
The fee releases Edwards from his three year Riverside contract.
He signed a three-year deal with Middlesbrough on arrival at the Riverside in June.
Therefore, the move keeps Wolves focused on appointing a long term boss.
